How do I invest in this project?
To publish our first book Between Two Rivers, we have followed the hugely successful model of the Hub City Writers Project
in Spartanburg, S.C. (hubcity.org). Heart of the Earth pre-sold a limited number
of hardbound collector's editions for $100.00. The income from these books has been applied towards the printing and distribution costs of the paperback first edition. We have sought donors and grants at $500, $1000 and above levels. Please see detailed investment options below.
Who benefits from your investment?
Red Hills Writers Project will take the literary arts to young people throughout our region. Your donations are used to fund exhibits, readings and visits by the writers to schools in north Florida and southwest Georgia. By donating, your are reinforcing local commitment to the ecological heritage our bioregion. Your donations provide for support of cultural events in collaboration with a variety of local entities (libraries, art galleries, historical societies, environmental groups, universities and colleges). These events will entertain, inspire and galvanize support for local issues. You are helping to create a truly sustainable vision of our landscape and its peoples.
